User First

I am dedicated to designing software that empowers users and I take the time to deeply understand their needs by putting myself in their shoes. I design solutions that enable them to make better, more informed decisions. I am committed to advocating for the people who will use my products.

Collaboration

Building strong relationships with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders is where I thrive. I communicate my design rationale clearly and effectively, tailoring my approach to each audience. From presenting early sketches to sharing detailed design specs, I ensure my ideas are understood.

Accessibility

I am particularly passionate about accessibility. I founded and led the accessibility committee in my previous role, driving the initiatives to create standards, integrate accessibility into every phase of our process, and ensure all products met WCAG standards.

Functionality

Good design isn't just about aesthetics. It is about how the function fits the need. My design direction always considers and often influences the project trajectory. A solution is only an acceptable one if it can integrate seamlessly with user needs and the technical and business objectives.

Inclusion

I care deeply about products and companies who are inclusive. As a member of the DEI committee, I provided recommendations and insight to executive staff on issues of culture, climate, equity, inclusion, and diversity. I also created and led mandatory company actives to promote these values.

Iteration

I work in fast and short sprints to obtain early and continuous validation. Feedback is a key part of shaping my ideas. I am proactive in gathering input and adopt to it. I thrive in a collaborative environment where I can give and receive constructive critiques that improve the design.
